The Communications Office is responsible for promoting the University and the achievements of staff and students to an internal audience.
It develops and maintains key communication ‘channels’ within the University, ensuring staff receive information about major institutional developments, decisions made by Senate, service developments and achievements of colleagues.
Key areas of work include the production of the staff online newspaper, Queen’s Now, and the management of other online resources for staff. These include the weekly all Staff Round Up, Senate News, the Staff Gateway, the Vice-Chancellor's Blog and the approval and distribution of all-staff and all-student emails.
Internal Communications also provides support to departments and colleagues on specific internal communication campaigns and messages.
