    Successful Alumni

    Hayley Sherwin

Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB)

Hayley graduated in 2009 with a BSc in Biological Sciences. “I currently work as a Conservation Adviser with the RSPB. One day I could be up at 5.00am surveying a farm for wildlife, the next I may be manning a stall at an agricultural show or visiting a local primary school to help them plant wildflowers.”

    Fiona Crawford

Associate Director of the Roskamp Institute

"My courses at Queen's, in particular the medical genetics courses and my hands on laboratory experience, cemented my interest in medical research and attracted me to my current job."

    Dave Smyth

    British Antarctic Survey

"Antarctica is a beautiful and surreal place to work. On my first day I saw 2 pods of Killer whales, a Humpback whale and a Leopard seal. The diving is unlike anything I experienced before the icebergs, the leopard seals, the giant nematode worms and the temperature every day is a good dive."
