A Celebration of Irish writing

Stars of the literary world arrive in Bangor to celebrate Irish writing including prominent authors such as David Park, Frank McGuinness, Colm Toibin and Malachi O'Doherty.

Olwen Purdue will be leading a residential reading party for History and English staff and PhD students at Clandeboye, home of the marquises of Dufferin and Ava, in conjunction with Trinity College Dublin. 

PhD students will be delivering public talks and leading a 'History and Literature Harvest' as part of Aspects, the Bangor Literary Festival. Olwen Purdue, Leonie Hannan, Fearghal McGarry, Marie Coleman, and Tom Hulme will also be participating.
