Application Procedures for current INTO students
All applications from current INTO students are handled by Cherry Li, INTO Queen’s Progression Officer and the University’s Admissions and Access Service. We hope that you find the information below helpful, however if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by email on cherry.li@qub.ac.uk.
Application procedures for INTO academic programme students:
Once students arrive at INTO Queen’s to start their International Foundation, International Year One, Pre-Master's or Academic English programmes, our INTO Queen’s Progression Officer, will assist them with their Progression Options. They will receive information on courses and get help with their applications to Queen’s University Belfast for their desired undergraduate or postgraduate programme. Special application procedures have been developed for INTO students, so please DO NOT submit UCAS or postgraduate applications for any students currently on an INTO Queen’s programme. All applications will be handled in the INTO Queen’s Centre, due to agreements in place.
Application procedures for students studying Academic English
Many students on Academic English programmes are intending to progress onto INTO academic programmes first, before joining their degree programmes in Queen's University. These students are advised to wait until they begin the International Foundation, International Year One or Pre-Master's programme, and then they will be guided through the application procedures as explained above.
Academic English students intending to apply to the University directly after completing Academic English will also be assisted by the INTO Queen's Progression Officer.
Information for students pre-sessional language programmes at INTO Queen's:
Students must have a conditional or unconditional offer of an undergraduate or postgraduate place at Queen's to receive an offer for Pre-sessional English at INTO Queen’s.
