Queen's Supports Imagine! Belfast Festival of Ideas and Politics 2024
The annual Imagine! Belfast Festival will return from 18 – 24 March 2024 with over 130 in-person and online events.
This year marks the 10th anniversary year of the festival, celebrating a decade of discussion and debate on various issues through its unique and diverse programming.
The annual festival boasts an exciting lineup of 132 events in 44 venues across Belfast, including 17 events run by Queen’s academics.
This year the festival will explore the theme, ‘Top EnterBRAINment’, inviting attendees to ‘bring your thinking caps’, and will include a diverse mix of film, humour, talks, music, poetry, theatre, exhibitions, tours, discussions and workshops.
The festival will feature keynote artists and speakers exploring political themes and they include: Paul Muldoon, Don Letts, Manchán Magan, Sarah Corbett, Eamonn Mallie, Noel Doran, Nuala McKeever, and Louise Walsh with special performances from the Ulster Orchestra, Yard Act, Henry Normal & Nigel Planer, Attilla the Stockbroker, Enola Gay, Paddy Cullivan, Ursula Burns and two productions by the Colorado based theatre company TINTs.
