We are privileged to be able to present a specially recorded conversation with the Honourable Murray Sinclair, former Co-Chair of the Aboriginal Justice Inquiry of Manitoba and Chief Commissioner of Canada’s Indian Residential Schools Truth and Reconciliation Commission, as part of this year’s Eaton Lecture.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion on reconciliation and related themes with Linda Ervine, Koulla Yiasouma, former Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People, and Professor Kieran McEvoy, the Senator George J. Mitchell Chair in Peace, Security and Justice, QUB. The event will be hosted by journalist and broadcaster Mark Devenport.
This event forms part of the biennial conference of the Association of Canadian Studies Ireland which is taking place 9-11 May 2024, at Queen’s University Belfast.
