Mitchell Institute Director Delivers Lectures in Paris

Mitchell Institute Director Professor Richard English recently delivered two Lectures at the University of Paris Cité. Reflecting his research on terrorism and counter-terrorism, and on Irish and British politics and history, the two Lectures focused respectively on 'Polarization and Crisis? Ireland, Britain and Post-Brexit Politics', and on 'Creating Enemies: States, Grievances and the Politics of Terrorism'.
Professor English's new book, Does Counter-Terrorism Work?, is published by Oxford University Press.
