The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Algorithmic Solutions (LINAS) Doctoral Training Programme is hosting an information session on December 8^th at 12:30 ahead of its deadline for applications on January 14^th 2022.

The LINAS DTP offers PhD scholarships to researchers who are interested in the interdisciplinary study of AI’s social impact, or that of data mining and algorithmic decision-making more broadly. Each PhD researcher will be assigned supervisors both from computer science, maths & physics, cybersecurity and from in law, politics and sociology. The programme focuses on two broad themes: “Artificial Intelligence, Social Justice and Public Decision-Making” and “Science, Governability and Society.” These themes are reflected in a range of projects, as outlined on the LINAS website.
