Human Rights and Constitutional Change on the Island of Ireland
Professor Colin Harvey presents at a number of events in New York and Brussels
Institute Sabbatical Fellow Professor Colin Harvey visited New York in November and spoke at two events including the National Committee on American Foreign Policy (NCAFP) event at Fordham University School of Law on 2 November. He addressed an informal gathering of the Brehon Law Society of New York later that day.
Both talks focused on human rights and constitutional change on the island of Ireland.
Professor Harvey was an invited speaker at the Seminar on European Responses to Territorial Conflicts in the EU, hosted by the Iratzar and Coppietiers Foundations on 7 November in Brussels, where he further explored these themes.
While in Brussels, Professor Harvey met with MEPs Barry Andrews and Seán Kelly at the European Parliament to discuss challenges and opportunities for the island of Ireland, including ongoing shared island conversations.
