The lecture was given on 19 April 2018 by Professor Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela who is Research Chair in Historical Trauma and Transformation at Stellenbosch University.

Professor Gobodo-Madikizela holds a World Leading Researcher Professorship in the Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice at Queen’s University. She is a former member of the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
