Life at the Lanyon Podcast
Life at the Lanyon podcast gives you a real insight into what being a student at Queen’s University is all about. Produced and hosted by members of the Global Student Recruitment Team, you will hear from current students, staff and special guests so that you can make an informed decision about studying with us in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Season 1
1) What is Clearing
In the first episode of Life at the Lanyon podcast, Raymond chats with two current Queen's students, Harshini and Yash, who will share their experience of going through the Clearing process.

2) Making The Most of Open Days
In this episode of Life at the Lanyon podcast, Raymond chats with Isabella, a Queen's Graduate and Student Recruitment Assistant, and Zoe, a current Queen's student, who both share their experiences of attending Open Days and finding out all the information you need to know about coming to Queen's University. In this episode of Life at the Lanyon podcast, Raymond chats with Georgia, a secondary school student from Victoria College, Belfast, who is applying to study at Queen's University Belfast, and Inez, a Medicine student at Queen's, who share their experience of applying to University through the UCAS platform. In this episode of Life at the Lanyon podcast, Raymond chats with Matthew, Senior GB Recruitment Officer, and Erin, a current Queen's student from GB, who share their experience of what Belfast and Queen's University is like for students from Great Britain. 7) Queen's Students' Union: Your Student Life Starts Here
In this episode, Raymond chats with Emma, Students' Union President 2022/23, and Bea, French and Portuguese Student and member of the SU Marketing team, who share all things Queens' Students' Union and how you can get involved to enhance your student experience. From joining Clubs and Societies, making your voice heard through SU Voice, volunteering through SU Volunteer, enhancing your business skills and growing your own business through SU Enterprise, or seeking support from SU Advice, the Students' Union is there for you.
