Overview

This award is available for undergraduates, attending UK universities, studying engineering or a related degree. Students can apply from their 1st year and must have at least one year of their degree remaining (not including the year they’re currently in). 

The application process is straightforward: in their application, candidates must demonstrate a passion for engineering and the potential to become a future leader. The funding provided through the scheme is to be spent on personal development activities. In addition to the financial support, awardees gain access to an RAEng mentor, invitations to bespoke networking and training events, and access to a large early-career network.
