Queen’s City Centre Housing Scholarship Available for 10 North America Postgraduate Applicants
The University is pleased to offer 10 housing scholarships to postgraduate applicants. These scholarships will cover your housing for 48 weeks in a private en-suite room in Belfast City Centre (Elms BT1).

Elms BT1 is an ideal choice if you’d like to live in the bustling City Centre, close to shops, cafes and restaurants, but only 20 mins walk or a short bus ride from Queen’s main campus.
With support staff onsite 24/7, students will live in one of our 667 en suite bedrooms in a shared apartment with communal kitchen-dining area. Students also have the convenience of an onsite gym, the perfect place to work out any time of the day.
Terms and conditions:
- Students must hold an offer to study a Postgraduate taught programme for entry in September 2025
- The scholarship can only be used in Queen’s accommodation and is not available for third party or private accommodation providers
- The scholarship is exclusively for new international students who reside in the USA or Canada
- Students must be classified as international fee-paying students paying the full international tuition fee rate with their domicile being the USA or Canada in order to be considered for this discount
- Students must hold an offer for a place on a full-time postgraduate taught programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus, starting in the academic year 2025/26 and prior to commencement of study have met any academic and language conditions attached to their offer as stated in their offer letter
- The scholarship cannot be used in lieu of any required deposit and no cash alternative is available.
- If you wish to upgrade your housing option, you will be responsible for covering the additional cost
- If you wish to defer your entry to the University your scholarship will not be transferred
- Students must be self-funded
- If you exit on a lower qualification (i.e., a PG Diploma instead of a Master's degree), you will not be eligible for the full scholarship
- This scholarship is for housing only, any scholarships you have received for tuition fee’s will not be affected
- The University reserves the right to vary all or any scholarship, discounts and regulations at its sole discretion
