For your first year of study when enrolling on LLB Law Senior Status.
- Who is Eligible: Students enrolling Autumn 2025 will be automatically assessed for the LLB Law Senior Status Scholarship award.
- Application Process: No application necessary. Students will be automatically assessed for the award.

This award is exclusively for new international students beginning their first year of full-time study on the graduate entry Law Senior Status (LLB HONS) accelerated qualifying law degree at Queen's University Belfast in the academic year 2025/26 who meet the conditions of their academic offer.
No separate application for this scholarship is required. If you are holding an offer for graduate entry Law Senior Status (LLB HONS) accelerated qualifying law degree and meet the criteria as set out in these terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded the LLB Senior Status International Scholarship upon enrolment.
All eligible international applicants will receive notification either with their offer or shortly after receiving their offer.

- Who is Eligible: For children, grandchildren or brothers and sisters of Queen’s alumni and current students beginning a full time course at Queen’s University Belfast. The scholarship may only be claimed by students whose sibling, parent or grandparent is currently pursuing, or has already completed, a programme at Queen's University Belfast, including completion of an exchange or Study Abroad programme.
Stepchildren and step siblings may also be eligible.
Students wishing to avail of the Queen’s Family Scholarship may be required to provide additional verification of their relationship to the current Queen’s University Belfast student or Queen’s University Belfast Alumni through whom they are claiming the Scholarship.

Reduction in tuition fees for Year 1
- Who is Eligible: New international students with unconditional offers for the academic year 2025/26 may receive a discount of £1500 when paying their tuition fees in full* by the appropriate deadline.
- Application Process: No application necessary, however students must email proof of payment confirmation to International Scholarships by the appropriate deadlines.

A £1500 reduction in tuition fees is available to new international students beginning a full-time course in the academic year 2024/25 who hold an unconditional offer and pay tuition fees less any International Office awards including the Early Confirmation Award by the following deadlines:
- Undergraduate unconditional offer holders 31 August 2025
- Postgraduate Taught unconditional offer holders 31 July 2025
- Postgraduate Research unconditional offer holders before the start date given in their offer letter
Who is Eligible: This merit-based award is exclusive to International Students who commenced a full-time and full duration undergraduate programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus in September 2022 or September 2023.
Exclusions apply.
Eligible students who achieve a 75% GPA in the academic year 2024/25 will be awarded a merit-based award of £2000 in the subsequent academic year (unless on placement, whereby the award will be made the following year).
Students who maintain a minimum GPA of 75% may receive this award in consecutive years.
Application Process: No application necessary. Awards made automatically to eligible new international students on enrolment.

If you achieve a 75% GPA at the end of the academic year and meet the eligibility criteria as set out in the terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded a Queen’s Excellence Award following enrolment in the next year of your undergraduate programme. Notifications are normally issued during August and if eligible your award will be credited to your tuition fee account in September.
Who is Eligible: This merit-based award is exclusive to International Students who commenced a full-time undergraduate programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus in September 2024 or September 2025.
