For new undergraduate students studying full-time undergraduate programmes.
Exclusions apply.
- Who is eligible: New full-time undergraduate students progressing to QUB from an NCUK Foundation or NCUK IYOne programme at any NCUK study centre worldwide. Excludes Medicine and Dentistry.
- Application process: NCUK students intending to commence full time undergraduate studies at QUB in September 2025 are required to apply for the award via the link below. Applicants must be holding a conditional or unconditional offer at the time of application.

Reduction in tuition fees for Year 1
- Who is Eligible: New international students with unconditional offers for the academic year 2025/26 may receive a discount of £1500 when paying their tuition fees in full* by the appropriate deadline.
- Application Process: No application necessary, however students must email proof of payment confirmation to International Scholarships by the appropriate deadlines.
All scholarships are offered subject to Terms and Conditions.
A £1500 reduction in tuition fees is available to new international students beginning a full-time course in the academic year 2024/25 who hold an unconditional offer and pay tuition fees less any International Office awards including the Early Confirmation Award by the following deadlines:
- Undergraduate unconditional offer holders 14 September 2025
- Postgraduate Taught unconditional offer holders 14 September 2025
- Postgraduate Research unconditional offer holders before the start date given in their offer letter

Depending on Fee Rate. Includes advanced entry into Year 2 or Year 3.
- Who is Eligible: New undergraduate students studying full-time undergraduate programmes. Exclusions apply.
- Application Process: No application necessary. Awards made automatically to eligible new international students on enrolment.

For Year 1 of study only
- Who is Eligible: For children, grandchildren or brothers and sisters of Queen’s alumni and current students beginning a full time course at Queen’s University Belfast. Available to eligible international students enrolling on undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research programmes. Exclusions apply.
- Application Process: Please contact our International Scholarships team for more information.

The scholarship may only be claimed by students whose sibling, parent or grandparent is currently pursuing, or has already completed, a programme at Queen's University Belfast, including completion of an exchange or Study Abroad programme.
Stepchildren and step siblings may also be eligible.
Students wishing to avail of the Queen’s Family Scholarship may be required to provide additional verification of their relationship to the current Queen’s University Belfast student or Queen’s University Belfast Alumni through whom they are claiming the Scholarship.

For Year 1 of study only
- Who is Eligible: Alumni returning to an eligible programme at Queen's University Belfast. Available to eligible international students returning to study on a full-time undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research programme. Exclusions apply.

Postgraduate Research students must be Queen's University Belfast Alumni, Exchange, Study Abroad, International Summer School or AHSS Winter School students who have successfully completed their previous programme at the Queen's University Belfast campus.
