Newcastle (An Caisleán Nua) is a picturesque seaside resort. 

It sits in the shadow of the Mourne Mountain Range, which is home to Slieve Donard (the tallest mountain in Northern Ireland).

Donard Park sits in at the bottom of the Mourne Mountain range next to the Glen River. It is close to the centre of Newcastle and connects to Donard Forest which boasts a variety of pine trees and woody shrubs.
