WELCOME TO THE FACULTY OF ARTS, HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES
The Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (AHSS) at Queen’s University Belfast is a lively and diverse community of people passionate about making a real difference. We bring together a wide range of subjects to tackle the issues that matter most—whether that’s improving lives locally, shaping national conversations, or having a global impact.
Our faculty is home to the School of Law, Queen’s Business School, the School of Arts, English and Languages, the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics, and the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work. Through our research and teaching, we aim to inspire critical thinking, creativity, and leadership, helping students understand the world around them and find ways to make it better.
