School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering

About The School

Welcome to our School. We are home to a vibrant learning and research environment for more than 750 students. Our curriculum is shaped by industry experts and enriched through collaborative projects with leading companies.

Our research focuses on two impactful themes: Healthcare and Sustainability. These themes are supported by our involvement with University virtual research centres, including the Sustainable Energy Research Centre and the EU-funded Bryden Centre for Renewable Energy Research. We are also a major partner in the Materials for Healthcare Technologies (MATCH) centre.
