The EPS DTP offers a fully funded PhD place (fees, stipend and research training support grant) for 3.5 years.
Our enhanced stipend will see our students receive an additional 5k on top of their current standard stipend (current rate for 24-25 £19,237). In addition to this, we are also offering a £5000 per year Research training support grant for project mobility and equipment.
This scheme is open to UK students only.
Candidates should hold or expect to gain a first-class degree or a good 2.1 (or equivalent) in their related subject.
Deadlines for projects may vary, please check the relevant project details for information. However, we would encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible to maximize your chances of securing a place.

Please explore the projects and express your interest via the form below. We will contact you to arrange a preliminary discussion about your eligibility, qualifications and areas of interest, and discover which research partner and project could be right for you.
