Patrick leads the Finance, Estates, Digital and Information Services and Strategy portfolios and is Co-Sponsor of the Belfast Region City Deal Programme.

Who we are

Finance and Resources manages the operation and delivery of all financial, digital and physical resource requirements across the University, with responsibility for the delivery of Belfast Region City Deal and Strategy 2030.

This is delivered by four Directorates, Finance, Estates, Digital and Information Services (DIS), Strategy and, in addition, the Belfast Region City Deal Programme Management Office.

What we do

Finance utilises professional knowledge and expertise to shape and support the University’s ambitions in learning, research, innovation and contribution to society.

Estates commits its resources to the provision of a support service to the University’s staff and students through the maintenance and management of the estate in an efficient and cost effective manner, whilst ensuring the conservation and enhancement of the University’s built heritage site and the continued provision of a quality learning environment.

Digital and Information Services supports the Vision and strategic priorities of the University by providing appropriate library and IT related services to support our students, staff, faculty, alumni and community.

Through the delivery of Belfast Region City Deal, our vision as a civic university is to bring lasting economic and social benefits to the people of Northern Ireland and beyond.

The Strategy Directorate co-ordinates and supports the delivery of the strategic goals and objectives of Strategy 2030.
