Queen’s new student accommodation featuring 459 beds, communal facilities, and internal and external communal spaces will open in 2026 on the Dublin Road, Belfast.
The first Passivhaus purpose-built student accommodation in Belfast, and the largest certified Passivhaus project on the island of Ireland; the new Dublin Road accommodation is an energy efficient, net-zero ready building, designed with sustainability and students’ wellbeing in mind.
Passivhaus adopts a whole-building approach with clear, measured targets, focused on high-quality construction, certified through an exacting quality assurance process.
- Built using high-spec insulation making the building as energy efficient as possible
