The Directorate of Education and Student Services provides a series of training, briefing and information sessions on key functions associated with assessment and with examination processes:

1. The Centre for Educational Development offers a range of events and courses for academic and teaching staff to keep abreast of current developments in teaching and learning, within Queen’s and throughout the Higher Education sector.
2. Academic Affairs maintains the University’s Code of Practice on Examinations and Assessment and provides briefing sessions on the University Regulations and Boards of Examiners each year.
3. The Examinations Office, in collaboration with Academic Affairs, provides information for Examination Liaison Officers.
