Educational Aims Of Programme

On completion of the programme the student will be able to:
Demonstrate in-depth understanding of theory and practice of leadership in the context of sustainable rural development and identify and critically evaluate the role of leadership for sustainable development within a range of organisational contexts
Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the principles and core themes associated with sustainable development and an ability to critically evaluate best practice within the rural sector
Using knowledge and skills gained from the programme, contribute positively to the sustainable rural development agenda through research projects
Demonstrate a high level of competence in employability skills that will facilitate a professional approach to the work environment
Demonstrate in-depth understanding of theory and practice of leadership in the context of sustainable rural development and an ability to identify and critically evaluate the role of leadership for sustainable development within a range of organisational contexts
Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the principles and core themes associated with sustainable development and an ability to critically evaluate best practice within the rural sector
