Notes

The programme can be adapted by a School or Institute for their own use, provided it follows the same basic structure and weighting.

Supervisors will guide students on their optional module choice, which can be selected from the list above or from any other Masters level module within the University, subject to approval from the supervisor. Students will normally enrol on both Research Preparation Portfolio modules, alongside a subject-specific, research methods focused module . In some cases, students may enrol on only the second semester Research Preparation Portfolio module, alongside two subject-specific modules, subject to agreement from their supervisor.

Students are required to take either Dissertation or Portfolio as one of the core modules.
