One fine August day the CED team members found themselves in Kearney Village, south end of the Ards peninsula. Armed with wellies, gloves and scythes (!) the team helped out National Trust staff with cutting the grass and weeding the heritage garden, as well as picking the litter on the shores of the Irish Sea. The day was very rewarding. We learned new skills (scything!) and ate some delicious cupcakes (proof in the photos below).
