There are a number of different activities that staff and students can participate in to help Queen's work towards a carbon neutral, sustainable future.
Queen's Sustainability Team run many different staff programmes focusing on sustainability, carbon literacy and environmental awareness.
Our Green at Queen's E-Zine is a great way to find out environmental activities taking place on campus. Other options include:
Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework (LEAF)
Carbon Literacy Training available (for staff) on iTrent.
Queen's Sustainability Team want to provide students the opportunity to get involved with climate action and play their part in the university achieving Net Zero. This will not be an easy task.
Which is why we encourage all students to participate in sustainability events, training, campaigns and more! Our Green at Queen's E-Zine is a great way to find out more.
Student initiatives give the opportunity for Queen's students to make a positive impact on their own carbon footprint, as well as the University's carbon footprint overall. From the smallest action to big steps environmentally, students can make changes in all aspects of their lives.
Alongside infrastructural changes across the University estate, we have developed a number of programmes to enable and empower our University community to take action.
The best way to keep up-to-date on all things Green at Queen's! Updated every month, the Green at Queen's E-Zine is the Sustainability Team's way of promoting sustainability events, campaigns and programmes to staff and students.
