Wellbeing at Queen's
Be healthy, happy and productive at work
Welcome to Staff Wellbeing at Queen’s – the home for support and information on a wide range of health and wellbeing issues at the University. Looking after your health and wellbeing is key to feeling good and functioning well both inside and outside work. It's important to recognise when you need some help to stay well – and to know where you can access information, advice and support. The University is committed to creating a compassionate culture that prioritises the wellbeing of its people.
Through our People and Culture Plan, we have committed to ensure that all of our staff enjoy a positive Employee Experience, where they feel supported and empowered to develop their talent while working within a culture that reinforces pride in Queen's as a great place to work. The wellbeing of our staff plays a pivotal role in achieving this.
Our approach to Staff Wellbeing at Queen's is organised under four key themes which are complemented by training and a wide range of events and activities. You can click on the links below to read more about each theme.

Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing
As life becomes busier, we’re realising how important it is to protect our mental health and wellbeing. The Five Ways to Wellbeing are 5 simple steps that we can all take to maintain and improve our wellbeing. Try to build these into your daily life – think of them as your ‘five a day’ for wellbeing.
The above steps have been researched and developed by the New Economics Foundation.
