LinkedIn Learning
Queen’s University is offering access to LinkedIn Learning – an amazing online learning resource for staff, that will complement our current range of face-to-face opportunities and add to our on-demand learning resources.
With more than 13,000 expert-led, online courses and video tutorials – and more added every week – LinkedIn Learning is designed for all levels of learners and is available whenever you choose to learn. You can access this resource by logging in with your Queen’s email or through the LinkedIn Learning app, where you can view courses via your mobile device. You can choose whether or not to connect a LinkedIn profile.
The topics range from business skills, personal and professional development, IT/digital skills to education, leadership and many more. The resources comprise high quality video learning resources plus downloadable exercises and workbooks. LinkedIn Learning uses subject matter experts to produce content that is being used by businesses (including many Universities), as well as individuals all over the world. The resource is being extended and improved continually with new material being added every month.
In support of the People and Culture Plan, Queen’s is committed to improving the employee experience, supporting development, enhancing performance and enabling staff to take ownership of their career and personal development. LinkedIn Learning was trialed during the 2018-19 academic year. Access is now available to any staff member who wishes to use the resource.
