Work and Employment Relations
Our people are key to the University achieving its strategic aims. As such, all employees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner.
As a University, we recognise that on occasion there may be concerns that need to be addressed either by the employee or a manager, we therefore adopt a structured approach through policies and procedures to ensure fairness and consistency for all employees. This section sets out the key policies and procedures relating to employee conduct and behaviour.

Capability Procedure
The Capability Procedure is used to address matters of workplace performance.

- Disciplinary Procedure
The Disciplinary Procedure is used to address misconduct in the workplace, for example, inappropriate behaviour.
- Conduct in the Workplace
Members of staff are expected to comply with the standards and expectations of the University set out in the following Code of Conduct and associated policies.
- Grievance Procedure
The Grievance Procedure relates to issues of concern raised by staff and provides a means to deal with these issues fairly, promptly and at the earliest stage possible.
