Service Description
The Open Access Support Service provides support across a number of scholarly communication areas including:
- Green open access (the operational running of Queen’s Research Portal repository)
- Providing open access awareness/education sessions and workshops
- Providing advice on funding body requirements for open access
- Providing guidance on copyright and licensing for academic publishing
Supporting gold open access and the management of block grant funding for open access.

Service Hours

Support Hours
The Service is supported during staffed hours, except for Public and agreed Queen’s holidays, details of which can be found at http://go.qub.ac.uk/HolidayDates.
Outside of agreed staffed hours, access to the service may be limited.
