Service Description

Digital & Information Services provides the infrastructure and technical services required to support Learning and Teaching across Queen's. The services range from provision of IT and AV elements of the physical learning and teaching estate to the development of online tools and services to underpin innovation learning and teaching approaches.

To date our services have been tuned to support on campus and blended learning solutions, but are starting to focus more on support for distance, and student centred learning solutions.

Service Hours

The Service is available to all authorised users on a 24 / 7 / 365 basis

Support Hours

The Service is supported from 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday, except for Public and agreed Queen’s holidays. Details of which can be found at http://go.qub.ac.uk/holidays.

Outside of Agreed Support Hours, access to the Service may be affected due to system upgrades, maintenance etc.

Core critical period for teaching services is exam and pre-exam periods. Additional critical times are detailed with sub services.

Queen’s Digital & Information Services is committed to providing excellent customer service and has put in place a standard response time for all Incidents & Requests (Available Separately). Any Incidents or Requests in relation to the Service will be responded to within the agreed timeframe. Please note that these response times refer to normal supported hours. Outside of these agreed response times, the agreed escalation points are as follows:
