The Library has taken out a subscription for students and staff to the point-of-care tool UpToDate, as a replacement for BMJ Best Practice.

UpToDate is aimed primarily at Medicine students and staff, but its content may also be relevant to Biomedical Sciences, Dentistry, and other research areas.

For guidance on accessing and registering with UpToDate for the first time, which must be done while connected to the QUB network, please go to: https://libraryhelp.qub.ac.uk/faq/276732

After registering, UpToDate may then be accessed from any device and any location for periods of 90 days at a time. A mobile app is also available.

UpToDate training resources can be found at: https://www.wolterskluwer.com/en/solutions/uptodate/resources

Questions about UpToDate should be sent to Richard Fallis, Subject Librarian for Medicine, Dentistry, and Biomedical Sciences: r.fallis@qub.ac.uk
