Yes! Through programs like Wellbeing at Queen's, you can connect with colleagues at fun events such as badminton, staff football, choir, walking tours, dance, yoga, on-site holistic therapies, and more. These activities are designed to help you feel healthier, happier, and more productive at work. - Can I work remotely?
Yes! Being part of the Digital Transformation team here at Queen's requires you to be in the office at least 3 days a week, thus allowing hybrid work life. Most meetings will be online with the odd one requiring in-person attendance.

- How much holiday/time-off is offered?
Short answer, a lot! Staff in the Digital Transformation team enjoy annual leave that they can book off throughout the year, as well as university closure dates, usually found on major public holidays. Support is available to all colleagues. We have a highly supportive team that cares about everyone within it, and we want you to succeed and thrive in the opportunities available. Every placement student will have a dedicated Line Manager for guidance and support, as well as mentors and experienced staff to work alongside.

- How much am I paid?
The salary is just over £24,000 for the year.

- Are the hours flexible?
Absolutely! We offer flexible working hours, with a requirement of 37.5 hours per week. You can tailor your shifts to fit your needs, such as 9-5 or 8-4, with specific arrangements determined by line management to meet the department's operational needs.

- How long is the placement?
The placement is a 12 month contract.

- How much responsibility will I get?
As a placement student you are always learning and evolving, your time as a placement student here will be met with a lot of training and practice, however, with that being said, you will receive a plethora of valuable hands on experience.
