Virtual work experience platform offering students opportunity to learn what it is like to work for a company, build vital career skills and industry knowledge for free. Hundreds of firms (e.g. Goldman Sachs, BCG, JPMorgan, Accenture) around the world currently showcase their work and career paths on Forage. Students complete this at their own pace through job simulation and completing tasks along the way for the company as part of the virtual internship. The tasks help provide an insight into specific industries and areas of work along with developing valuable skills. Companies provide a certificate of completion at the end of the internship. Below is an example of one of the internships:

E.g. Luluemon Marketing and Omni and Retail Technology

· A program you can complete all on your own time, at your own pace, anywhere.

· A certificate of completion from lululemon that can be used to show your new marketing skills.

· Work experience to put you above your peers in the job search.

· Insight into whether lululemon is the right workplace environment for you!

Tasks:

1. Developing an integrated marketing plan

2. Digital transformation of the retail guest experience

3. Hyperlocal marketing with ambassadors

4. Data analysis

Learning outcomes:

1. Build integrated marketing plan using skills such as creative thinking, project management, analytical thinking etc

2. Discover what it's like to be part of the lululemon creative team and experience pitching your first digital product strategy for one of the most recognizable and leading performance apparel brands. Skills include digital transformation, market research, design thinking

3. Finding the right ambassadors for your company. Develop skills such as decision making, verbal communication

4. Using data to drive marketing decisions, developing skills in data analysis and marketing principles.

In order to use Forage Virtual Internships when making a Combined Route application you will need to evidence completion of one or more internships where the total work experience exceeds 5 hours.
