InterSim: Developing Professionals Through High-Fidelity, Life-Like, Team Simulations

The KN Cheung, SK Chin InterSim Centre invites students in health or social care disciplines to apply and participate in team-simulations to develop their team-working, communication and problem-solving abilities. During a short introductory workshop, students will learn about immersing into simulations and complete a baseline reflection of their team-orientated, behavioural skills. After participating in 3 team health or social care simulations over a period of time, they will complete a short instant report that enables them to reset their personal development goals. On completing all simulations, students will create a 2-minute video that outlines how they have developed their thinking, emotions and behaviours as a result of being a team-member in a high-fidelity simulation.
