Students will learn how to enter and organize data, perform calculations with simple functions, and format the appearance of rows, columns, cells, and data. They will gain skill on how to adjust fonts and colours to be more readable and add alt-text for images, to make workbooks more accessible to people with disabilities. Other lessons cover how to work with multiple worksheets, build charts and PivotTables, sort and filter data, print in Excel, use Microsoft Copilot with Excel, and more

Students from the School of Biological Sciences

The Excel LinkedIn Learning will be an option through the Career Ready Canvas Module is open to all UG and PGT students from the School of Biological Sciences to complete at any stage between first year through to final year.  We know from our Employer’s that our students don’t have the fundamentals in Excel, at both placement and graduate level, and the Excel LinkedIn Learning course will resolve this.
