Part-time work can be a useful way of earning money and developing skills which are valued by graduate recruiters at the same time.
QUB recommends students work no longer than 15 hours per week in part-time employment. There is evidence to show that working in excess of this impacts on academic performance and degree classification ultimately achieved.
