A Faculty Representative is an elected, voluntary leadership role in the Students’ Union, working with School & Course Representatives and other Student’s Union representatives, to represent the interests of students in their Faculty and improve the educational experience.
They chair meetings and participate in educational focused meetings in the University, including their Faculty Education Committee, as well as being a member of the Students’ Union Council and University Academic Board.
They influence decisions and lead change in the Students’ Union and the University, making sure that the interests of students are considered when decisions are made.
