Student Associations are student-led groups which represent particular groups of students and campaign on general issues relating to those groups.
The Student Association Chairperson is an elected, voluntary leadership role which leads and coordinates an Association. They recruit students to their Association, plan and deliver activities, campaigns, and events. They are the recognised lead representative of the group of students which they represent.
They are a member of the Students’ Union Council and have an opportunity to participate in Students’ Union and University committees, forums and working groups to improve the experience of Queen’s students.
