Student members of the School of Pharmacy Mental Health and Wellbeing Group have an important role within the school community in promoting a positive culture of wellbeing. Student members of the group can apply for the Future-Ready award using this activity if they have actively contributed to the group on a regular basis. This means that the student will have done more than attend group meetings e.g.
- have had a leadership role in group e.g. chairperson, secretary
- organised wellbeing awareness activities for school community e.g. coffee mornings with information stand
- contributed to development of mental health awareness materials e.g. school newsletters.
Students are supported in developing their skills for active membership through mental health awareness and leadership skills training.
The candidate must demonstrate and reflect on their contribution to the named club, society or committee.
