Students will volunteer their time to assist with the SSESW Social Science Student Journal in one of several roles: peer reviewer, social media team member, website editor, or editorial assistant. As a peer reviewer, students will review papers submitted by SSESW students for potential publication in the journal. Reviewers will provide constructive feedback to enable authors to improve their papers to a publishable standard before the papers undergo a second peer review by faculty. Reviewers will receive training on conducting high-quality, respectful peer reviews. Other volunteer roles will support journal operations and promotion through social media, website, and editorial tasks.
