Open to students from the School of Psychology.

The role of a student undergraduate journal club coordinator involves organizing and leading regular journal club sessions aimed at supporting students' skills in reading and understanding journal articles. Key duties include selecting relevant academic articles, preparing reading materials, and facilitating discussions to help students engage with the content. The coordinator encourages participants to critically evaluate research methods, results, and conclusions, promoting a deeper understanding of the literature. Additional responsibilities include managing group dynamics, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment, and leading discussions on the strengths and weaknesses of research, thereby enhancing students' academic confidence and collaborative skills.

Students who complete 30+ hours including a reflective report will be eligible for Single Route accreditation. Students who do not meet these requirements, but have completed 10+ hours can use this as one of their activities when making a Combined Route application.
