Welcome back to a new academic year. It’s almost October – or Actober, as we call it in the Careers Service. Why? It’s crucial you act this month to give yourself the best chance of propelling your career forward. When it comes to your future, the worst thing you can do this month is nothing.
Things to look out for this month include our Virtual Graduate Recruitment and Placement Fair, Go Global Week and the Private Sector Employer Panel Event.
So whether you're looking for a graduate job or opportunities for further study I’m here to support you every step of the way, so you can hit the ground running this semester and beyond.

With most of our Careers activity happening online for this semester, you can act from your armchair. Check out the not-to-be-missed events for your diary

Register for our Virtual Graduate Recruitment and Placement Fair
The Graduate Recruitment and Placement Fair will take place online this year on 21st and 22nd October through Graduateland. Known as the "Tinder for jobs" this platform will match you with relevent employers but only if you spend some time creating a bio.
The more information you put in to completing your bio, the better you will stand out to employers. You can browse employers, watch videos and see current vacancies. The good news is, you only need to complete your profile once and your info will be stored for all future events.
