Most placements and internships are targeted at students in Year 2 or Year 3. Students coming to the end of Year 1 are advised to look on the above websites for opportunities labelled as "Insight" and to look at the other internship and work experience opportunities listed below

You may be eligible for a paid teaching internship if you're:

• in any year of a science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) undergraduate degree
• interested in teaching secondary maths or physics

You'll experience the teaching profession, get new skills and be paid £300 per week.

There is a list of participating schools throughout England.

We are offering ten fully-funded internships to students and graduates with autism.

Internships will typically be equivalent to full-time for 8-10 weeks but could stretch over a longer period with reduced hours per week.

Internships will be paid at a rate of pay that equates to at least National Minimum Wage.  

Dates, duration, working hours and location (onsite or virtual) will be at the discretion of the employer but there will be flexibility to accommodate specific requirements.

If you’re planning to undertake any unpaid opportunities over the next couple of months (1^st May to 23^rd July), we will give you a £250 Bursary in recognition of the skills you will be developing towards your future career. Examples of experience could include unpaid work in schools, businesses (SME), charities, not-for-profit organisations, the Health and Social Care Trust and other public sector organisations. The bursary can also be used for advertised opportunities such as Sports summer camps or children’s residential summer camps.
