Study exchange with Universidad de Extremadura (University of Extremadura)
The University of Extremadura (UEx), founded in 1973, is a public university in the south-western Spanish region, which it is named after.
Around 24,000 students attend undergraduate and postgraduate courses, in addition to 8,000 pursuing doctoral studies or other courses. There are 1,500 academic staff members.
The Cácares campus is close to the walled city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town has a large student population, with plenty of bars and live music venues.
