Jacqui is an Outreach Officer who works in the delivery of the Reading Together, Numeracy Together and Steps to Success programmes.
Reading Together/Numeracy Together support the development of literacy and numeracy skills for children in care aged 9-11 years, by providing one-on-one reading or numeracy support by a Queen’s student mentor on a weekly basis. Steps to Success will be introduced in 2023-24, and, funded by the Department for the Economy, aims to work with children in care who have made the step from P7 to Year 8 and may need additional support with this transition through weekly sessions with a Queen's student mentor.
