Dr Eslam Amer
Dr Eslam Amer, hailing from Cairo, Egypt, currently holds the position of a research fellow at ECIT – Queen’s University Belfast.
Eslam achieved a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2012. The dissertation underlines a primary focus on augmenting the efficiency of Web search engines through Semantic Web techniques. The primary objective was to delve into the semantic relationships between entities within web pages highly relevant to the query. Subsequently, the research aimed to automate the generation of an ontology that intricately described the query topic.
Eslam's academic journey also encompassed a role as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Benha University, Egypt. The year 2017 marked a significant milestone when Eslam was promoted to the position of Associate Professor of Computer Science.
In 2022, Eslam's dedication and expertise in the field culminated in a promotion to the esteemed role of Professor of Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer Science at Misr International University, Egypt.
