As a woman with diabetes you will have access to a dedicated team to help you manage your diabetes and to support you through pregnancy. Starting with your GP, you will have the support of a dedicated diabetes pregnancy support team at your local hospital:

• To look after your diabetes:

  • Consultant Diabetes Physician
  • Diabetes Specialist Nurse and/or Midwife
  • Dietitian
     

• To manage your pregnancy:

  • Consultant Obstetrician
  • Midwife
    
    

• To look after your baby:

  • Paediatrician
