Virtually join theatrical Professor, Mark Lawler, as he regales you with the words, songs and scandalous verse of James Joyce, on Bloomsday Tuesday 16th June at 7pm on Facebook Live. This event is in aid of the Queen’s University of Belfast Foundation’s Rapid Response Innovation Fund, currently supporting research to rehabilitate survivors of COVID-19. Sadly, Professor Lawler’s uncle John Gallagher, died of a COVID-related illness, therefore this performance will be a tribute to him.
Seriously ill patients are starting to recover from prolonged stays in intensive care with COVID-19, but because this is a new virus nothing is yet known about what care and support is needed to ensure sufferers return to full health. Donations will help to make sure that everyone can receive exceptional care and support through their recoveries.
