Cyberpsychology is a vastly developing field seeking to understand the psychology experiences and impacts of new technology and aspects of the Internet. This talk will reflect upon 10 key lessons which I have learnt from working in this area, drawn from my experiences as a researcher, consultant and science communicator. This will include insights such as future implications about what “screen-time” could look like, the limitations of categorising our everyday experiences as either “online” versus “offline” and how we can understand cyberpsychology better from more conceptual integration.
